TAXI fully leased

Zeppelin Development’s TAXI development in the River North, or RiNo area at the edge of downtown Denver, is now fully leased, the developer announced today.

“TAXI is now 100 percent occupied by more than 60 tenants, totaling 180,000 square feet in four buildings,” said Kyle Zeppelin, principal of the namesake firm.  “We are actively working on at least two significant new projects on the site to keep up with demand.”

TAXI is now 100% leased with new phases coming.

Recent additions to the tenant roster at TAXI include:

  • Cirro
  • Antrope
  • Intelligent Imaging
  • Visual Interest
  • Fire & Patio
  • Denver Data and Web
  • Better Weather, Inc.

Before launching one of the first mixed-use developments in RiNo with TAXI, Micky Zeppelin, Kyle’s father, also had been a pioneer developer in what is now LoDo and the Golden Triangle.

TAXI is just north of Coors Field on the South Platte River at 3455 Ringsby Court. In addition to its commercial space, it includes 43 residences.

“TAXI is uniquely suited to the requirements of New Economy” businesses that represent the fastest growing sector of the economy,” Kyle Zeppelin said. “These firms increasingly value their people.  To compete for talented employees, businesses are actively working to provide the best possible work experience- a more casual setting, extensive natural light and views, amenities and common areas that encourage interaction. Businesses demand a high level amenities including on site early childhood education, fitness, and café—all of which are now in place at TAXI.”

DRIVE revving up

Among the phases being actively worked on is DRIVE, a 95,000 square foot, LEED-certified building designed for 20,000 square foot-plus New Economy firms. According to Zeppelin Development, construction on DRIVE will begin by the second quarter of 2012.

“We’re very excited to welcome a diverse array of innovative firms. The culture of collaboration has taken root here and the most gratifying aspect of any project is seeing firms working together and realizing opportunities that would not otherwise exist,” Zeppelin added.
