Deibel appointed to EDC committee

Bob Deibel has been appointed to Executive Committee of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp.

Bob Deibel, president and owner of OfficeScapes, has been appointed to a two-year term as co-chair of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp.’s Executive Committee, the EDC announced today. Deibel joins existing co-chair Todd Munson, president and Colorado market manager for JPMorgan Chase & Co. John Beeble, president and CEO of Saunders Construction Inc., has completed a two-year term as co-chair of the Executive Committee and is the chair-elect of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Consisting of 50 Metro Denver EDC investors representing a cross-section of Metro Denver’s companies and industries, the Executive Committee oversees the Metro Denver EDC’s budget and guides strategic goals to improve and expand the region’s economic competitiveness and industry base, as well as influence effective business policy.

“I’m delighted to serve as co-chair for the Metro Denver EDC with Todd Munson. The coalition of the business community is a critical element to support the exceptional efforts of the Metro Denver EDC,” said Deibel. “I look forward to building on those successes and to further position Metro Denver as a world-class site for corporate relocation and expansion.”

Deibel previously served as a co-chair for the Metro Denver Aviation Coalition, an industry-focused affiliate of the Metro Denver EDC dedicated to the continued growth and development of Metro Denver’s aviation industry.

Deibel also serves on the board of directors for several area organizations including the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Brighton Economic Development Council, Colorado Succeeds, and World Presidents Organization. He is a member of the University of Colorado at Denver School of Business Advisory Board. Deibel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Colorado College.
